Machine Offline

If you notice that one or more of your mining machines are shown as offline, there's no need to worry straight away. An offline status does not always indicate a hardware failure. There are several reasons why a machine may temporarily stop mining, and in many cases the issue resolves itself without any action being required.

One of the most common reasons is scheduled maintenance. From time to time, our technical team performs updates, inspections, or infrastructure work to ensure the long term stability and performance of the mining facility. During these maintenance windows, machines may temporarily appear offline.

Your machine may also be offline if there is an unexpected technical issue, such as a network interruption, power event, or hardware fault. Our monitoring systems continuously monitor all miners and automatically alert our technicians when a machine requires attention. In most cases, repairs begin before you even notice the issue.

Another possible reason is an outstanding hosting invoice. Our hosting service works on a monthly top up basis. Each payment covers your machine's electricity costs for the upcoming month. Invoices should be paid within 10 days of being issued. If an invoice remains unpaid for 30 days, the energy balance for your machine reaches zero and the miner will automatically be powered off until the outstanding balance has been settled.

Depending on the location of your miner, temporary energy curtailments or government imposed power restrictions may also result in machines being taken offline. Whenever this happens, we will communicate these events through our announcements and FAQ pages.

If your machine has been offline for more than 48 hours without any explanation or announcement, we recommend contacting our support team. Please include your machine ID (or IDs) and a screenshot of what you are seeing in your dashboard. This allows us to investigate your case much more quickly.

If your machine has only recently gone offline, we kindly ask you to allow some time before contacting support, as many temporary interruptions are resolved automatically by our technical team.
