Understand the Status of Your Miner
You can monitor the status of your miners directly through your mining pool dashboard. Different statuses indicate whether your machine is actively mining, temporarily offline, or inactive for a longer period.

On ViaBTC, miners are generally shown under three different statuses:
Active Miner
An active miner means your machine is online, connected properly, and currently submitting hashrate to the mining pool. This indicates the miner is functioning normally and actively mining.
Offline Miner
An offline miner means the machine is currently not submitting hashrate and has been disconnected for a short period of time, usually between 20 minutes and 24 hours. This can happen due to temporary network interruptions, power restarts, maintenance, or the machine rebooting.
Inactive Miner
An inactive miner means the machine has not submitted hashrate for more than one day. In most cases, this indicates the machine is fully offline or requires further investigation.
It is important to understand that temporary offline periods can occur occasionally and do not always indicate a hardware issue. Network instability, pool reconnections, maintenance, or miner restarts can all temporarily affect the displayed status.
After a machine reconnects, it may take approximately 10 to 20 minutes before the mining pool updates the status and displays hashrate again.

You can manage and monitor your workers directly through ViaBTC’s worker management dashboard. There you can:
• View miner status
• Check individual hashrates
• Monitor rejected shares
• Review last active times
If your miner remains offline or inactive for an extended period of time, or if you believe the displayed status is incorrect, please contact support@epicmining.io for further assistance.
