At Epic Mining, we are constantly testing and improving our operations to maximize the performance of your machines.

Our team regularly travels around the world to find the best locations to mine Bitcoin.

At the same time, we continuously test different machine configurations, firmware setups, and mining pools.

Every percentage point of improvement means more Bitcoin generated for you.

Last year from Aug - Nov'26, we conducted a series of tests and initially found that OurPool appeared to generate slightly higher returns compared to the mining pool we had been using for the past four years, ViaBTC.

Based on those early results, we decided to migrate to OurPool.

However, once we deployed this at the larger scale of machines we operate today, the performance did not meet our expectations.

For three months, our team had been running an extensive analysis across multiple vetted mining pools.

We’re testing them in parallel to see where performance can be improved and whether we can squeeze more output from the same machines.

For that reason, we have decided to move our machines back to ViaBTC.

Based on our analysis, we expect this change to generate stronger and more stable returns for our miners.
