Ledger: How To Find And Submit Your Ledger Bitcoin Wallet

This video explains the process of finding a Bitcoin wallet address on a Ledger device to facilitate mining payouts.


Finding an Existing Bitcoin Account

  1. Open the Ledger Live app on your computer.
  2. Connect your Ledger device via cable and unlock it with your PIN.
  3. Navigate to the Accounts menu in Ledger Live.
  4. Select your Bitcoin account and click the Receive button.
  5. Follow the prompts to open the Bitcoin app on your Ledger device by scrolling to it and pressing both buttons.
  6. Verify that the Bitcoin address displayed on your computer matches the address on your Ledger device, then confirm it on the device.
  7. Copy the wallet address.

Setting Up a New Bitcoin Account

If you do not have an existing Bitcoin account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the My Ledger section in the side menu and search for "Bitcoin".
  2. Install the Bitcoin app onto your device.
  3. Return to Accounts, select Add account, choose Bitcoin, and follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Once created, click Receive and copy the address as outlined above.

Submitting Your Address

After copying your address, complete the following:

  • Fill in your details and paste your Bitcoin wallet address into the appropriate field.
  • Double-check that the full address has been copied before submitting the form.
  • Once submitted, the team will connect your mining payouts to that wallet address.
